That's a good question, considering I have no data regarding how people, anglers or non-anglers, might do on this quiz. It's strictly for fun and is not to be taken too seriously. However, if you want my non-expert analysis, here goes:

19 or 20 correct: Excellent. Yesterday you couldn't even spell the word ichthyologist, and now you practically are one! But don't get too excited. Just because you know a lot about fish doesn't mean you can catch them!

17 or 18 correct: Very good, a solid B.

14 to 16 correct: Respectable, a solid C.

11 to 13 correct: Poor, a grade of D.

10 or below: An F! As Jed Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies would have said, "Pitiful, just pitiful."
