
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: IBM-compatible 486, 8 MB
Ram, 12 MB free disk space.
| Place disk 1 in the 3 ½
inch disk
drive. Click the START button, and choose Run
Type in a:\setup (or b:\setup). You should see the following screen. You will be prompted to insert each disk as it is needed. Insert the disk, and click on OK. |

When the END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT screen appears, read it
and
click the YES button.

| When the file extraction process is complete, this screen will appear. If you want setup to install all components, click NO (recommended). |

| The next screen show you the progress of the installation: |

| When the installation is complete, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Click the YES button and the setup program will restart your computer for you. |

Remove any diskettes from the disk drive, and click the OK
button.
| When your computer restarts it may take a little longer than normal, as it updates some configuration files. You will then see the Cloudnet Setup Screen. Click the install button. |
|
You will be notified that the installation is complete. Click
on your Internet icon to connect to Cloudnet.
| When you click on the Internet icon, you will see the following screen. You will need to replace the values for Username and Password. These values were given to you when you activated your Cloudnet account. To replace the values in these 2 fields, click in the field, delete the value to be replaced, and t ype in the correct value. Check the Save Password box if you don't want to enter your password each time you connect. When you have made the necessary changes, click on the CONNECT button. |

User name = username | Enter the username you chose when you got your account. |
Password = ****** | Your password will be represented as *'s so it can't be seen by anyone who shouldn't see it. |
Phone number = 240-8259 | Optionally include a *70, before the phone # to disable call waiting. |
| The next few screens you see indicate you are in the process of connecting. Dialing . . . Verifying Username and Password . . . Logging on to Network . . . Connected. |

This last message indicates the speed of your connection, and keeps track of how long you have been connected this session. It may automatically minimize itself. It can be found on the task bar. The Microsoft Internet Explorer will then start automatically. |

Getting Help and learning to use the Internet.
For help with using Internet Explorer, choose HELP
from the menu bar and choose "Help Topics".
For help with the Internet in general, choose HELP
from the menu bar and choose "Web Tutorial".
For help with other software packages, and configuring them for use with Cloudnet, click on the HELP button on the Cloudnet Home Page.

To see how much time you have used, click on the
HELP button on the Cloudnet Home Page, and choose "Your Account
Information". You will be prompted to enter your username
and password.
When you are done with your Internet session, click
on the DISCONNECT button in the Connection Status window.
Setting Up Mail
Click on "Mail and News" on the button
bar of Microsoft Internet Explorer, and choose "Read Mail".
You will see the "Internet Mail Configuration" Introduction
screen. Click NEXT.
| You will be prompted to enter your real name and email address. Click NEXT. |

| The Incoming and Outgoing mail servers should already be filled in with mail.cloudnet.com. Click NEXT. |
|
| Enter your Email account (same as your username) and your password. Click NEXT. |
|
| The next screen is filled out
for you already. You connect by modem, and the Dial-Up Networking connection you use is Cloudnet. Click NEXT. Click FINISH on the final screen to complete Mail Setup. |
