Cloudnet's Email Filtering Service is an anti-spam and anti-virus service to protect your incoming email. The service examines each message as it passes through our system, preventing confirmed spam and virus carrying messages from reaching your domain/email server, based on settings that can be customized by you!

With no software to install and no modifications required to your email system, connection to Cloudnet's Email Filtering Service is quick and easy. Once implemented, you access an easy to use web interface for monitoring and maintenance. Cloudnet's system is automatically updated, enabling maximum spam and virus protection at all times while eliminating administrative overhead.

Unlike clumsy and difficult to manage and update desktop software solutions, Cloudnet's Email Filtering Service can reduce load placed on your email server (up to over 90%*) and workstations by off-loading both email spam and virus filtering to us.

Individual email users can "train" their own settings to more effectively identify and manage spam. This is particularly useful as no two people's definition of spam is quite the same. Each email account has the options to set individual filter levels, and decide its own level of quarantine, spam and delivery.

• Automatic updating of global spam and virus rules
• Four possible message classification categories:
  1. BLOCKED. Messages that are clearly spam or virus-bearing are discarded before they are delivered.
  2. QUARANTINED. Messages that have objectionable content, attachments that might contain viruses, or which match known spam content are marked as [QUAR]. You have the option of having these suspicious messages held on the server for your review.
  3. SPAM. Messages that have some of the characteristics of spam but which may be legitimate are marked as [SPAM] so that you can make a decision about how to handle them. Messages from organizations, businesses, and mailing lists often fall into this category.
  4. ACCEPTED. Messages that are not clearly spam or virus-bearing are delivered directly to your domain.
