Here you will find answers to our most frequently asked questions about Windows 3.1

How do I disconnect from the internet if my computer doesn't prompt me to do so when I close my browser?

Double click on the Cloudnet Icon on your desktop. (You may have to minimize your "Program Manager" to see the icon),

Click "Disconnect", and then click "Close". You should now be disconnected from the internet.

When I open Internet Explorer I get the error "Internet Explorer can't find the internet site www.cloudnet.com".

The Most probable cause for this error is that you are not connected to the internet.

Look in your "Microsoft Internet Explorer" Program Group, if you don't have an icon that looks like a yellow phone with a hand on it, then you don't have a dialer linked to the group.

With "Microsoft Internet Explorer" Group open, Click on "File" in the title bar of the "Program Manager", then on "New", click "Program Item", and click "OK".

In the "Description" field type "Cloudnet", Now click on "Browse", Double Click on the C:\ in the box under "Directories", then double click on "iexplore"

Now on the bottom Left, click the down arrow next to "Programs", and click "All Files"

Now click on " con00000.con " in the box above "All Files" then click "OK", and "OK" again.

you should now find the yellow telephone and hand icon in your "Microsoft Internet Explorer" Program Group.

When you double click on the "Internet Explorer" icon You should now get a "Connect To" box.

Enter your username, password and the phone number for the line you are trying to dial into, and click "Connect".
