As a new user you're probably wondering what is IRC?. IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat". It's the process of communicating with others via the internet and your keyboard. Most IRC Chatting programs link to a chat server. Almost all of these servers that you connect to for IRC are linked with other servers forming what is called a Network. Each of these networks usually thinks of a name for itself. There are multiple internet networks that host IRC chatting with servers around the world..

These are just some examples, there are lots more out there. At present we know of three different IRC chat clients or programs. Each is for a different operating system, Mac, PC, and ircII. We suggest using one of these IRC clients because of there simplicity. These three clients can be found on this homepage.
