Amethyst Angel's
AnimeFEST 2001 Photo Gallery

Well, I finally got around to developing the convention film in my 35mm camera and now I have me a mess of pictures to post. As far as anime cons go, this one didn't seem to feature that many cosplayers, but I noticed those who did bother to show up put a lot of thought and effort into their costumes.......for the most part. Let's have a look, shall we?

Myself as Filia, from Slayers TRY

A shot of me holding up my tail so you can see the cute wittle wibbon attached to it...

And one of me holding out mace-sama, looking as if I'm about to use it on somebody....

....like this guy. (It's a girl, actually. A girl named Candice...)

...doesn't she make a convincing Xelloss? (You'd better say yes, or she'll start speaking to you in her David Moo voice.)

Here's a shot of my character and her archnemesis, battling to the death....

...or, to what Filia might consider, a fate worse than death...

It's Chocolate Misu from Sorceror Hunters (a.k.a, The Cosplay Nazi).

Fellow Slayers cosplayers! Amelia #1...

And Amelia #2!

Nurse Joy from Pukemon. (Yeah, I meant to spell it that way...Nice costume, though....)

Just one of the many Vashes (both male and female) I saw running around at this convention.

You can't have a proper cosplay gallery without posting at least one obligatory shot of a Sailor Scout. This was one of the nicer ones at the convention.

SM's Tuxedo Mask and the "Moonlight Knight"(Thanks to the MANY people who wrote in to tell me MK's identity and the identity of many of the following cosplayers.)

It's Anthy, the Rose Bride from Utena, and standing beside her is another SM cosplayer, Ruby Moon.

Here's an easy one: Belldandy from Oh My Goddess!

And Chrono, the eponymous hero/Goku lookalike from Chrono Trigger!

Akito (I think) from Nadesico. (GREAT costume)...

Subaru from Fushigi Yuugi....

Megumi from Ruroni Kenshin

Jun Jun from the Amazoness Quartet (Sailor Moon).(REALLY great costume).
