First day in Xian, about to take a tour to see the Terra Cotta warriors. I should've taken this one myself.

The north gate in the Xian city wall.
On top of the Xian city wall at the north gate.
Looking down at the street through the north wall.
Purportedly the largest city wall in the world. It's big.
Big bell on the wide open top of the north gate on the wall.
You could see downtown to the south if there wasn't so much pollution.
Apparently a big wall wasn't enough for the first capital of the Chinese Empire, so they added a big moat to match.
On a small, long balcony in the north gate.
Folding panels. Outrageously expensive (by local standards anyway).
I think it came out better with the flash.
The tag has a price of 14800 yuan (about $1850). Haggling to 1/10 the price isn't uncommon the street. Not sure about here though.
