1" - 3" -- Clear within 24 hrs.
3" - 7" -- Clear within 48 hrs.
Over 7" -- Clear within 72 hrs.
1. Removal of 1" to 3" snowfall shall be completed within 24 hours of cessation of snowfall .
2. Removal of 3" to 7" snowfall shall be completed within 48 hours of cessation of snowfall.
3. Removal of snowfall in excess of 7" shall be completed within 72 hours of cessation of snowfall.
4. Grass damage to shoulder and/or mailbox damage is considered incidental to snow removal and the town shall be held harmless of such damage.
5. Sanding and Salting shall be done as deemed necessary by township officials.
If you use reflectors to mark your driveway. MnDOT advises that only Clear or Blue are acceptable, Red or Yellow appear to be automobile lights and are therefore confusing. Do not use on mailboxes or mailbox posts; do not place closer than 10 feet from the shoulder of the road. Recommended height is 4 to 5 feet above the road surface.
