It was reported that returns of our mailings are decreasing.

Doug reported on the Privacy issues on our Web Site. We will continue to have a User Name, and Password required to access the personal information such as addresses and telephone numbers of our general membership.

Articles that have appeared in the Brainerd Newspaper and the ensuing emails were discussed. By consensus, the Board decided that the issue is now "dead" and responding directly to the emails would serve no good purpose.

Motion by Kunkel, seconded by Knuth and carried 5-1 to make a check payable to the DNR, for the RIM Match, of the entire amount received to date from the Capital Campaign Drive. ($26,5000) Check is to be presented to Mike Karp at a future Twin Valley Council Executive Board Meeting.

The Board discussed the need to get Thank You letters out to all our donors. Don Halverson agreed to put together a letter for this and share it with the CCAA Board for suggestions and revisions. Don volunteered to send out the letters and pay the expenses for postage.

Doug Raney reported that he is nearly ready with the "Adopt an Acre" certificates to be presented to our Donors who donated $1,000.00 or more.

Lowell Johnson showed the Board a small wooden "donation train" that the CCCC is giving to donors who have donated $500.00 or more. There is no cost for these trains.

Motion by Johnson, seconded by Fretham and carried 6-0 to give a "donation train" to all of our donors who have donated $500.00 or more. Lowell will get the Trains needed for this.

Motion by Poppe, seconded by Johnson and carried 6-0 to grant Honorary membership of the CCAA to Don Cole who worked at Cedar Point when it was a Summer Camp in 1937, '38, '39.

Motion by Fretham, seconded by Poppe, and carried 6-0 to grant Associate Membership to Tom Hallet and consider his first years dues paid via the $10 he paid towards pizza.

Discussion was held with regards to selling signed and numbers prints by member Artists as a possible future fundraiser. This idea will be followed up on at a future date.

The next meeting of the CCAA Executive Board was set on November 30, 2004, at 5:30 pm at Jakes Stadium Pizza in Mankato. The Twin Valley Council is scheduled to have their next Executive Board Meeting later this same evening. The CCAA Board meeting will be adjourned in time for attendance at the Twin Valley Council meeting.
