Scouters should work together to save camp
Yes, Cuyana can be saved but it will take the help of every Scouter in the Twin Valley Council to do it.
In the past few months, there have been a number of letters to the editor and a lot of talk among Scouters, myself included, about selling the building on Madison Avenue.
The fact is selling the building will not solve the financial problems of the TVC. The council executive and most of the present board members were not involved in the decision to build the Madison Avenue building.
It's time to put the past behind us, step up and do what is needed, not only to save our camps, but to make certain that we do what is necessary to improve and maintain them for future generations.
